Stephen Ministers are compassionate members of our congregation who have undergone extensive training to provide a safe and supportive environment for those in need. They offer a listening ear, a caring presence, and a confidential nonjudgmental space where you can share your feelings and concerns.
At St. Peter’s, Deacons operate through a flock system focusing on church member care. Some of the services Deacons provide to the church are: setup for memorial service receptions, provide greeters for services, plan and volunteer at parish picnics and the Annual Gathering. Being a Deacon also affords an opportunity for personal growth in one’s own Christian experience and commitment, while helping church members feel connected and being an important part of the congregation of our church.
