In the beautiful, terraced hills of Palos Verdes. Located less than an hour from Downtown LA and overlooking the ocean, St. Peter’s by the Sea gives you the best of all things–a sacred space that offers natural, beachy/coastal beauty near Los Angeles, the Beach Cities, and Orange County.
Our desire is to assist you in creating a beautiful celebration filled with deep reverence and sacred joy.
Our Sanctuary was built in 1970, remodeled in 2021, and is truly breathtaking. Dramatic high ceilings, a sweeping balcony, an exquisite pipe organ, intricate woodworking, and extraordinary stained glass windows all lend to its grandeur. It accommodates up to 400 guests and has a main aisles and two side aisles.
Wedding contributions include a Pastor, Wedding Director, Musician (pianist or organist), Cantor, Audio, Visual, Lighting Engineer.
A valid California Marriage License or a copy of your legal Marriage Certificate (if you are already married).
Three 1-hour meetings prior to your wedding (all of which are included in your contribution).
• An in-person Planning Conference with our Wedding Director to discuss details of your ceremony.
• An in-person conference with our Pastor (that will be officiating your wedding) to personalize your ceremony.
• An in-person Rehearsal (for the wedding couple, their wedding party members, parents, etc.), which will take place on the Wednesday or Thursday before the wedding.
NOTE: Please know the conferences and rehearsal are held on the grounds of St. Peter’s by the Sea.
No congregational membership or classes are required to be married at St. Peter’s.
Wedding Contribution Amounts: Mondays thru Saturday – $3,000
We ask that a non-refundable Reservation Fee of $200 be given at the time you place your reservation. Fifteen days prior to the wedding date, the remaining amount is due.
St. Peter’s can stream your ceremony, as it happens, in its entirety. Share the love with family and friends who can not attend on your own private streaming channel. The address for your private channel can be given when you order for inclusion in your wedding invitations.
Our fellowship hall, Reeves Hall, is available to host receptions.
