Women

What are the WOMEN of St. Peter’s up to?

Welcome to Women’s Ministries at St. Peter’s by the Sea. We are a community of women who come together to share our faith, support one another, and make a positive impact on our church and the world around us.

The goal of women’s groups and activities is to create connecting points where women of all ages and stages can build relationships and community.

First Mondays - Women Nurturing Women

Monthly gatherings (most, but not every month) on the first Monday with a different focus to appeal to a variety of interests.  Activities include service opportunities, e.g. packing to-go bags for the Garden Church and helping with VBS preparation, and fun gatherings, e. g. flower arranging, paint by number, and line dancing.  Women gather from 6:30pm – 8:30pm for a light supper and conversation, in addition to the planned activity.  The location of First Mondays varies from the church campus to local homes.  Check out Events on the website for details about upcoming First Mondays.

Reluctant Sisterhood

Provides emotional and spiritual support to women who have or have had any form of cancer. Regular informal coffee gatherings are held at St. Peter’s or in volunteers’ homes where stories are shared between the “sisterhood” members concerning their personal journeys as they fight and live with various forms of cancer.
